HC10 in the classroom
Fontys University of Engineering in Eindhoven recently purchased a Yaskawa HC10 for students in the Adaptive Robotics minor and teacher researchers in the Adaptive Robotics research line.
Students and researchers work together on a flexible assembly line, which includes a modular transfer system, various robots / cobots and mobile robots (AGVs / AMRs). The HC10 is used for the supply and removal of the relatively heavy products in this line.

Collaboration
The choice for the Yaskawa HC10 is, among other things, to intensify the collaboration with Yaskawa and other partners at the BIC (Brainport Industries Campus where Yaskawa Benelux is located).
Gain experience
In addition, the purchase of the HC10 is to allow students to gain experience with robots from one of the largest industrial robot suppliers. Fontys has both the new “Smart Pendant” and the traditional Yaskawa Teach Pendant with the HC10, in order to cover several ways of programming.
