Quality and reliability serving agricultural machinery
Increased production and reduced cycle times
Repeatability and reliability-core features of Yaskawa MOTOMAN robots-are essential characteristics especially when it comes to agricultural machinery. It is consequently of utmost importance to have a quality product. Looking for an automation solution that would guarantee these features, Kverneland, a company now part of the Japanese Kubota Group, successfully approached the world of Yaskawa robotics.
Founded more than 140 years ago in Norway, Kverneland is now a multinational company belonging to the Japanese Kubota Group. Its main activities involve research, development, production and marketing of agricultural machinery for customers located all over the world, although its main markets remain Europe and America.
At the Italian plant in Ravenna, Kverneland develops products dedicated to forage harvesting, particularly round balers, on which it focuses its core business, winders and choppers. In 2022, this production site will reach an important milestone: it will in fact celebrate 100 years, a testament to its high level of experience in the development and production of agricultural machinery. To keep abreast of the times, the company has also created an organization capable of absorbing technological innovations to remain competitive in the market while constantly increasing productivity.
